Three interviews one week !

So this week is a busy one..

Firstly I have Sumo Digital on Wednesday for a technical designer role, which is amazing, at such a large encompassing accredited studio. The opportunities are so vast here and it would be an amazing career studio, not needing to move just move up ! Some of the games they have worked upon are things such as Forza Horizon 4, Little Big Planet 3, Hitman 2, Snake Pass and more !! Who wouldnt want to work for them !?

Next is contract work on the Thursday to create a AI chatbox conversation construct. Which would be on the Bolton College website, helping future students progress from College to University ! this in itself would help so many people in the long term if done right and be such a cool experience and technology to work on.

Finally, on Friday i will be venturing to Wushu studios in Liverpool with the hope of another technical designer role ! having industry legends like Alan McDermott (formerly Evolution Studios and Sony Computer Entertainment) and Nigel Kershaw (formerly Ocean Software, Deep Silver, Sumo Digital and Evolution Studios) there only bolsters the reasons why this would be an amazing opportunity but as far as I can take from their press release they are working also on a science-fiction game (my fave !!!) and also in tandem on another project with Lucid Games, which a few acquaintances work for.

Honestly the fact I have the two interviews for Sumo Digital and Wushu Studios alone humbles me, I hope I can impress them both with my abilities and demeanor. I mean if I dont get the jobs.. then it means someone better than me is making the games I will be playing.. so not really a bad thing.. but if I do get an offer.. I will take the first steps into the games industry and be forever grateful !
